The DaMDamin 2024 post-processing event at ASMPH was a meaningful conclusion to the students’ journey in Northern Samar. After ten days of immersion in rural healthcare, participants reunited to reflect on their experiences, emotions, and insights. Through guided discussions, storytelling, and creative expression, they processed the challenges they faced, the resilience they witnessed, and the impact of their work.

This session was more than just looking back—it was about translating lessons into action. Students shared how the immersion reshaped their perspectives on health equity, deepened their understanding of community health, and reinforced their commitment to patient-centered care. The event ended with expressions of gratitude, personal commitments to future service, and a renewed sense of purpose as they continue their medical journey.
